ReeVR Talent is proud to be exclusively partnered with Gulmay Ltd, a global leader in high-voltage power supply systems, to recruit a driven and technically strong Engineering Manager to lead their UK engineering team.
The Role:
As Engineering Manager, you will be pivotal in driving R&D and product development, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure engineering output aligns with commercial goals. You will lead a multi‑disciplinary team covering electronics, embedded firmware, and mechanical design, delivering innovative, high‑quality products for the high‑voltage industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse UK engineering team across R&D and sustaining functions
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and to‑scope delivery
* Review and approve product designs, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance
* Collaborate across teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development to team members
* Work with supply chain and external partners to support manufacturing
Key Experience & Skills of the Engineering Manager:
* Proven experience leading cross‑functional engineering teams
* Degree‑qualified in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
* Strong understanding of product development lifecycle – concept to production
* Experience in high‑voltage design or X‑ray systems is highly desirable
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially aware, innovative, and able to balance multiple priorities
