Digital Learning Specialist This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role, supporting a high-impact global Finance Transformation programme at the heart of our business. Role Purpose You will be part of an exciting, fast-moving, Finance transformation programme with a global reach that sits at the heart of the organization As the team and organization continue to evolve and expand at pace, our knowledge and learning will become an increasingly important foundation to enable us to continue driving forward. Working closely with the Finance Transformation Director and other high-profile collaborators, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of training to support colleagues across the global suite of Flutter brands. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Learning and Development Manager, on a day-to-day basis supporting global Finance transformation through the design, development and curation of specialist training covering US GAAP and IFRS. Create compelling digital learning content tailored to global audiences at a variety of different organizational levels, using best-in class technology and multimedia tools. Work closely with subject matter experts and other collaborators to identify learning needs and develop solutions that drive engagement and knowledge retention. Evaluate the effectiveness of training and leverage data to continuously improve and innovate the digital offering to drive engagement, completion and knowledge retention. Work collaboratively with the global Learning and Development team to deliver training aligned to Finance Transformation goals and local regulatory requirements. Maintain documentation that reflects version changes and updates for transparency, reference and legal compliance. Update existing training content and visuals to align to Flutter global brand(s) and values and make the content available through different interactive and inclusive methods. Assist in the collation and communication to targeted audiences and manage audience-based campaigns in the delivery of required learning content. Use reporting tools to analyze training progress, identify gaps, and ensure all mandatory training is completed on time and regularly conduct compliance checks to ensure that all employees have completed mandatory training. Skills & Capabilities Ability to work creatively to launch innovative and engaging learning Knowledge of marketing campaign development for launching learning initiatives High level of planning and organisation skills Ability to engage suppliers for utilization of new pioneering external products Ability to learn and understand complex and technical regulatory requirements and create meaningful, accessible, actionable and engaging learning content to meet those requirements. Ability to perform productively independently and with little supervision Ability to work collaboratively in an ambiguous, complex and matrixed environment. Excellent listening and communication skills Excellent communication in both written and spoken English. Italian speaker preferable. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office applications A track record of high performance and an appetite for continuous improvement through problem solving and opportunity spotting Qualifications & Experience At least 2 years’ experience in digital learning design and/or delivery or equivalent role Experience in multimedia instructional design (eLearning, videos, visual aids and etc) (in a regulatory capacity, preferred.) Experience in facilitation, presentation and training delivery Experience in project management and coordination Experience with Articulate (Storyline and/or Rise), Gomo, Vimeo or other content authoring and video creation technology. Experience with Kineo, Workday or other Learning Management Systems (LMS). About Division/Function The Deputy Group Financial Controller is a new but vital executive level role within Flutter Group Financial Control, recognising the need for additional senior Finance leadership as the Group transitions into a US-SEC ecosystem. This role is essentially the right hand to the Group Director of Finance, serving as a key strategic advisor to the Group, and Global Finance organisation. Reporting into this key position will sit four workstreams; Group Accounting & Reporting, US External Reporting, Internal Controls and Polaris Internal Controls. As a primary listed New York Stock Exchange registrant, we will be required to deliver ongoing SOX / technical training to employees working on finance process and systems regarding US GAAP-SOX policies and continuously updated procedures as Finance undertakes an extensive transformation programme.
