Part Time, 3 days a week (22.5 hours), Fixed Term until 31st March 2027
Based at 100 Temple Street, Bristol and working on site
across Bristol (and from home where appropriate)
An opportunity has arisen within the City Transport service to work in the Engagement and Active Travel Team which aims to increase active and sustainable modes of transport across the city in order to increase physical activity, improve air quality and encourage healthy lifestyles.
The role is predominantly administration-based involving updating spreadsheets, recording information, creating comms materials, checking tasks have been completed, producing reports and communicating with key stakeholders.
In addition, you would engage with the public at in-person events and when required, deliver a variety of active travel themed sessions and assemblies in educational settings across the city.
You would be working closely with the School Active Travel Officers and Travel Plan Officers to deliver this work, and the post would suit someone who's passionate about sustainable/active modes of travel and who likes working with both adults and children.
