Can you spot a faulty capacitor from across the room? Then you could be the technical specialist who ensures our electronics stay reliable, efficient, and operational. This role will involve repairing/modifying production returned Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with Quality and Industry standards. The Repair Technician role will involve: Using detailed work instructions to assemble products to customer specifications and Industry standards IPC-J-STD-001 Ensure all repaired/reworked product meets internal quality standards and IPC-A-610 workmanship criteria of repaired/reworked Ensure all repaired/reworked product meets Industry standards IPC-7711/7721 Liaising with and supporting production rework/repair requirements Inspecting PCBs using magnification equipment Follow repair logs, and visual aids to complete assigned tasks Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and components replaced X-ray inspecting of built assemblies to ensure quality of product For this role you will need: Ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials IPC certifications are desirable Experience in rework / repair is preferable, but training can be provided onsite Highly flexible and proactive approach in order to meet required quick turnaround times Able to respond to changes in demand and meet tight deadlines This role is full time, permanent and onsite in Hook, Hampshire.
