This temporary post is only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.
We recommend that you submit your application no later than 21:00 hours on the closing date.
Please note that you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post; however, these are not required at the application stage.
You should print the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, the Head Teacher report must be signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed it, in PDF format, to the email address below. Make sure to include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.
The completed report should then be submitted by the Head Teacher to:

Failure to do so may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks are subject to the following criteria:
For posts considered regulated under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.
The cost of the check will be deducted from the successful candidate's first salary payment, and in some cases, in installments following employment commencement, with approval from the HR & OD Manager.
If the employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
This policy also applies to existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
