A leading City law firm is seeking a talented 3–4 PQE solicitor to join its highly regarded Tax team, focusing on Funds Tax. This is an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier clients across private equity, venture, credit, infrastructure, and real estate.
What You’ll Do
* Advise on fund structuring and formation across alternative asset classes
* Provide tax guidance to asset managers on carried interest, VAT, restructurings, and mobility issues
* Support transactions including fund secondaries, GP stakes, and asset management M&A
* Help clients navigate early-stage tax disputes and investor tax complexities
* Collaborate across sub-groups and departments on high-profile, cross-border matters
Role Requirements
* England & Wales qualified solicitor with 3–4 years’ PQE
* Strong academic background and technical tax expertise
* Experience in asset management or partnership tax preferred, but not essential
* Excellent communication and matter management skills
* Collaborative, proactive, and engaged with firm culture
