Salary for Full-time equivalent: Grade 4 – Scale 7-10 (£30,288 - £32,535 Pro-Rata)
Hours: 8.30 am – 3.00 pm with 1 hour lunch break
We are looking to appoint a full time SEND teaching assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team to start as soon as possible.
We are looking for a candidate who:
•Is qualified to GCSE level in English and Mathematics and is competent in IT
•Has experienced of working in a school environment or educational setting
•Has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs
•Has the ability to run intervention programmes and plan and deliver sessions for individuals or small groups
•Is a proactive team member
•Is able to build relationships with parents, staff and children
•Will respect and maintain confidentiality
•Is committed to promoting the ethos and values of the school
We are looking for someone with the energy and enthusiasm needed to make a real difference in the lives of our children. The successful candidate must be passionate about developing young minds and motivating children of all backgrounds, making the most of their skills and talents.
The post will initially be on the junior site.
