Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled CT Radiographer to become an integral part of our forward-thinking and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who excels in CT scanning, leads by example, and is enthusiastic about mentoring and developing others.
To be considered, candidates must hold a relevant BSc qualification and HCPC registration, along with demonstrable experience in CT imaging. The post will be primarily based at Withybush General Hospital. However, flexibility is essential, as the role may involve working across other sites within the Health Board to meet service demands.
Responsibilities
* Carry out CT imaging and contribute to the full range of examinations offered by the department, including CT Coronary Angiography.
* Engage in role extension opportunities including Radiographer led Barium swallows and hysterosalpingograms, plain film, CT and MRI radiographer reporting, and opportunities for postgraduate study including ultrasound training.
* Participate in on-call duties for General and CT, with on-call participation mandatory after training and induction are completed.
* Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to a positive and developmental team environment.
* Contribute to departmental QA, safety, and adherence to clinical governance standards.
The department has a busy on-site workflow and uses a range of equipment, including Canon Aquilion Prism, GE Revolution Evo CT scanners, Siemens 1.5T MRI, Samsung DR rooms, and planned Canon Ultimax fluoroscopy room. You may be required to work across sites within the Health Board to meet service demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 22/10/25.

Qualifications and experience
Essential
* BSc Radiography (or recognised equivalent)
* Short specialist courses or experience to postgraduate diploma level
* HCPC registration
Desirable
* Understanding of specialist radiography procedures and PACS
* Post graduate qualification
* Post graduate certificate in Mammography
Experience
Essential
* Qualified to use different equipment and x-ray techniques
* Radiographer skills
* Substantial experience in specialist examinations (CT/MR)
* Supervising and Training Radiographers
Desirable
* Previous NHS experience
* Evidence of role development
Language
Desirable: Welsh speaker (Level 1)
