We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to maintain, repair, and improve hotel facilities and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and guest safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
* Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions promptly
* Maintain and test fire alarms, emergency lighting, and safety systems
* Manage maintenance logs and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
* Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialised repairs
* Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals
* Respond quickly to breakdowns or urgent maintenance requests
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to high standards
* Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades
