The school is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner with recent and relevant experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high:quality Spanish lessons across Years 7:11, catering to the full ability range.
* Contribute to the development of engaging schemes of work and resources.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students.
* Participate in departmental and whole:school initiatives to raise achievement.
* Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular activities.
What Were Looking For
* A qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge in Spanish.
* Experience teaching Spanish to KS4 is essential; ability to offer French at KS3 or KS4 is desirable.
* A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
* Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a supportive team.
* A reflective practitioner keen to develop professionally.
