Facade Manager

PSR Solutions is working with a well-established and growing main contractor to recruit an experienced Facade Manager for upcoming residential and care home developments.
This role would suit a Facade Manager who has progressed from a roofing background and has strong experience overseeing external envelope packages, including roofing, cladding, and façade systems. Experience working on care home or residential schemes is highly desirable.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager, the Facade Manager will take full responsibility for the delivery of the external envelope packages, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, and to a high-quality standard. You will act as the key point of contact for façade and roofing subcontractors on site.
Key Responsibilities
Managing façade and roofing packages from initial install through to completion
Overseeing subcontractors delivering cladding, roofing, rainscreen, and associated façade systems
Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
Coordinating façade works with internal trades to maintain sequencing and access
Carrying out regular quality inspections and managing snagging works
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
Reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and technical details
Liaising with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to resolve technical issues
Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the wider project team
Managing materials, deliveries, and access requirements for façade works
Requirements
Strong background in roofing with proven experience managing façade packages
Experience delivering external envelope works on residential or care home projects preferred
Good technical knowledge of roofing, cladding, and façade systems
Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements on live construction sites
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain quality standards
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Relevant site qualifications (SMSTS / SSSTS preferred)
