Senior Accountant Accountancy Practice £40K - £45K plus bonus Buckinghamshire / Flexible WorkingFull-time | HybridThe Opportunity An established and growing accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join its team.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong practice experience who is looking to take on a broader role, work closely with clients, and be part of a firm that offers flexibility and genuine progression.Whats on Offer Flexible working and hybrid arrangements25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with option to buy additional days)Annual bonus and commission schemeBUPA cash plan and health insuranceEnhanced pension contributionEnhanced maternity and paternity benefitsDeath in service coverEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFull study support and professional subscriptionsElectric vehicle schemeFree parkingThe Role You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing both compliance and advisory support across a range of accounting and tax matters.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clientsPreparing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returnsCompleting P11Ds and capital gains tax reportingPreparing monthly and quarterly management accountsActing as a key point of contact for clientsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsIdentifying tax planning opportunities where appropriateManaging deadlines across multiple assignmentsSupporting managers with ad hoc projectsAssisting and mentoring junior members of the teamAbout You ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)CTA qualification would be advantageousMinimum 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practiceExperience using Xero or other cloud-based accounting softwareExperience with Iris would be beneficial but not essentialComfortable managing a portfolio of clientsStrong communication skills and confident dealing with clientsWell organised with the ability to manage deadlines effectivelyProactive and able to work independentlyTPBN1_UKTJ
