Neighbourhood Assistant
If you love variety at work, consider becoming a Neighbourhood Assistant. You'll support the neighbourhood team in West Dorset, working alongside other assistants and being supported by a Senior Neighbourhood Officer.
What you'll be doing
You'll work in a fast-paced environment providing administrative support to neighbourhood officers and handling customer queries. Responsibilities include managing the mutual exchange process, tenancy changes, updating records, and other tenancy-related tasks via phone and email. You may also be out and about conducting mutual exchange visits and neighbourhood inspections, offering a mix of housing management exposure and opportunities to expand your housing knowledge. Administrative tasks such as letter writing, mail merges, record keeping, and electronic filing will also be part of your role.
About you
You should have experience in housing management, with good communication skills for handling tenancy enquiries. Resilience and clarity in messaging are essential. Attention to detail is necessary for accurate record keeping. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for visits.
