HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our well-established and expanding rail team based at our branch in Oldbury.

About the role:

As our Finance Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Rail team. This includes managing transactional processes, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The role is essential in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of day-to-day finance activities.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities as our Finance Coordinator:

* Process invoices and handle financial queries accurately and within required timeframes.
* Assist in maintaining the general ledger and reconcile account statements for key customers.
* Support financial cycles, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
* Coordinate with internal teams to collect information and resolve financial queries.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.
* Liaise with customers to address invoice or order-related discrepancies.
* Maintain organised financial records and ensure data integrity.
* Provide administrative support to the finance and rail teams as required.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and their finance departments.

Skills we're looking for in our Finance Coordinator:

Essential:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* High level of attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

* Previous experience in a customer service environment.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of the end-to-end customer sales order process.
* Experience working within a finance or accounts-related role.
