What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Occasionally, managing a full store operation overnight, taking responsibility for the entire shift, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
* Ensuring high standards are maintained for a ready-to-serve store come morning.
* Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and pay accuracy.
Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with nightshift work and adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, prioritising a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Experience in line management within fast-paced, operational settings.
* Resilience to handle the mental and physical demands of night shifts.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team to deliver the same.
* Experience in monitoring KPIs or performance indicators.
* Ability to manage disciplinary, performance, and employee relations issues.
* Leadership skills to operate independently in the absence of senior management.
