Technician – Cramlington – £48,000 ote
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic qualified to NVQ L3 or equivalent. This dealership vacancy is in a busy automotive workshop, delivering service and repair on a range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will bring a stable workshop‑based career profile, ideally gained within a franchised dealership or reputable independent garage.
Responsibilities
* Carry out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
* Communicate with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
* Speak with customers on occasion to provide expert, technical opinion.
* Maintain thorough and up‑to‑date product knowledge.
* Provide exceptionally high customer service levels that foster loyalty and referrals.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of work.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair, or equivalent, and at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience.
* Full driving licence.
* Ability to work under pressure, multi‑task, and maintain quality awareness.
* Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Mot card desirable; a valid MOT Smart Card would be beneficial.
