Chambers is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to join its forward-thinking and friendly team. Reporting to the Senior Clerk and Senior Practice Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Chambers by supervising and developing the Junior Clerking Team, assisting with diary and case management, liaising with courts and clients, supporting billing and fee processes, and contributing to business development and marketing initiatives.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2-3 years' clerking experience or relevant experience gained in a similar environment, excellent spoken and written English communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels and to create and maintain good working relationships, a willingness to deal effectively with a multi-faceted role and develop your own skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing diaries, hearings, conferences, and counsel availability.
* Liaising with solicitors and clients, providing quotes and agreeing fees.
* Handling new instructions, enquiries, and case logging.
* Assisting with billing and fee entry as required.
* Obtaining and managing court listings.
* Supporting Chambers and client events when needed.
