West Yorkshire, UK – May 2026 – Mamas & Papas has announced a rare and strategic opportunity for a forward‑thinking Print and Pattern Textile Designer to join its award‑winning Soft Goods Design team in West Yorkshire as a twelve‑month fixed‑term maternity cover.
This role supports the brand’s rapid commitment to industry‑leading, sustainably and ethically produced nursery interiors, clothing, and textile equipment.
Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Head of Soft Goods and define the global textile print "handwriting" for the brand.
* Develop unique, in‑house prints and emotive, storytelling graphics that resonate with the modern, conscious consumer.
* Research emerging trends and manage the complexities of textile workings to ensure every product aligns with the brand’s DNA, premium quality and rigorous ethical standards.
* Collaborate closely with buyers and ethical suppliers to create precise specification packs for responsible product launch.
* Operate within a passionate, award‑winning environment, actively contributing to the brand’s mission to bring joy to new and hopeful parents worldwide.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven ability in producing premium, defining textile designs (experience in baby clothing or nursery textiles not required).
* Creative visionary with strong design execution skills.
* Ability to work within a fixed‑term, maternity cover schedule (twelve months).
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
