You will be joining a leading facilities management organisation that provides high-quality, reliable engineering support across a major commercial site in Southampton. Your new role
As a Day Shift Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical, electrical and building services systems. Working on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00 and 10:00-18:00, along with one Saturday per month, you will diagnose and repair faults, complete testing and inspection tasks, and support the upkeep of HVAC, electrical distribution, plant equipment, water hygiene systems and fabric repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Fault finding and rectification across M&E and HVAC systems
2. Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks
3. Small installations, replacements and project work
4. Working with motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation systems and BMS (Trend 963)
5. Supporting compliance, maintaining logbooks and completing documentation
6. Liaising with site users and supervising contractors
