Job Description
AGR are working closely with our Aberdeen-based client to recruit a Senior Process Engineer to join its team on a contract basis, initially for 1 year.
About the role:
This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day discipline engineering expertise to the asset operations organisation (including shutdowns) ensuring continued safe, reliable and environmentally responsible operations. Use process engineering principles to optimise production. Bring engineering rigour and good practice to fault finding and incident investigation and provide a direct link between the discipline engineering organisation and operated asset.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Provide day to day support for process engineering within the asset; meeting the operational demands of the asset as set by the operation manager
2. Provide discipline expertise for troubleshooting operational issues identifying root cause and improvements to prevent future occurrence.
3. Identify and implement solutions for immediate repairs, ensuring adherence to standards and engineering processes
4. Be the competent engineer for discipline in the planning and execute process.
5. Specifically, defining discipline details to the 30 and 90-day asset plan; and then delivering any engineering aspects of that plan
