Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000

The role of the Estimator – Architectural & Structural Metalwork will involve:
* Estimating position dealing with a range of high quality balustrades, stairs, balconies and structural steel
* Liaise with clients and designers to gain a full understanding of project requirements
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain costs for materials, labour and plant and equipment
* Produce detailed take-offs and formalised quotations to clients
* Keep internal database and documentation up to date
* Attending at mid-bid & post tender meetings
* Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
* Working on project sizes ranging between £300k - £3m
The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Architectural & Structural Metalwork with:
* Must have 3 years’ experience estimating experience within a specialist subcontractor
* Must have steel fabrication experience however would consider other building envelope backgrounds such as cladding, cladding support systems, metalwork, etc
* Experience working on large scale projects
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* High levels of attention to detail
* Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a positive attitude
* Capable of working in a fast paced environment
* Be able to commute or re-locate
