Due to the expansion of our Business Support Department we have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our progressive firm and friendly team.
The right candidate will have experience of computerised bookkeeping systems and be fully IT literate. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people is a fundamental part of this role as is the ability to work flexibly as the succesful candidate will be required to work with a number of different clients and their individual bookkeeping systems. A willingness and aptitude to learn new software and processes is essential and training can be provided where required.
Duties will include:
* Scanning of data into various bookkeeping software
* Data input of financial information into accounting software
* Quality control and checking of data
* Drafting VAT returns
* Liaising with clients to ensure data is complete and accurate
* Ensuring submission deadlines are met
The position is full time, based in either our Bideford or Launceston Office, although travel to clients premises may be required so a full driving license and own vehicle is required.
The salary for this role will be commensurate with experience.
