Role
The Customer Solution Specialist (CSS) provides technical support, subject matter expertise, and product advice to regional sales teams and customers. The role may have a domain specialization and is part of the regional Customer Solutions team.
The ideal candidate has proven technical and solution design skills in a complex, technology-driven sales environment. They must be customer-facing, able to engage prospects and clients, understand their software environment, and propose solutions to enhance their business processes. They should communicate complex solutions effectively, bridging technology and business benefits, and manage customer expectations to maintain credibility. Effective communication across cultures and languages, including in-person and virtual demonstrations and training, is essential.
The role requires proficiency across multiple solutions in the Seequent suite to support various segments, providing a versatile technical sales/SME capability. It involves hands-on, customer-focused work, quick analysis, problem-solving, and supporting business growth. Significant travel may be involved to maintain market presence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to regional expansion within a dynamic team and company.

* Gain proficiency as a generalist CSS across products like Leapfrog, Central, OpenGround, GeoStudio, PLAXIS, and others.
* Learn from customers about their usage and challenges with our and competitors’ products, providing feedback to internal teams.
* Develop and share technical expertise to support customers, colleagues, and peers.
Professional Capabilities
* Ability to question, listen, and analyze customer needs and desired outcomes.
* Provide tailored solutions to improve customer results.
* Respond promptly and professionally to technical queries.
* Build trust as a business partner and advisor.
Sales/Revenue Generation
* Collaborate with the regional team to identify and develop opportunities.
* Gather market intelligence and support market development activities.
* Organize demonstrations, webinars, and provide product information.
* Maintain accurate CRM data to inform management of market and pipeline insights.
Marketing and Business Goals
* Monitor and improve customer satisfaction.
* Support product upgrades and new releases.
Skills, knowledge, and competencies
* Experience in ground investigation, environmental geology, geotechnical or civil engineering, or related fields.
* Qualifications in geotechnical engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or earth sciences.
* Experience with civil or environmental infrastructure projects is a plus.
* Experience with GIS, geospatial, 3D modeling, geoscience, or data management software is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Leapfrog, Central, OpenGround, GeoStudio, PLAXIS is preferred.
* Technical curiosity and ability to become an expert user.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Ability to support sales through technical insights, demonstrations, and solution design.
* Confidence in conducting customer meetings at technical and executive levels.
* Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages is a bonus.
