Maintenance Electrician Dudley Circa £36,000 basic + overtime (OTE significantly higher) Full-Time | Permanent | Weekly Paid 3-Shift Rotating PatternThe Role A well-established heavy industrial manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering team. Working alongside a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installation work on factory/process machinery.Key Duties
o Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
o Reactive breakdown repairs
o Installation and maintenance of factory/process machinery
o Fault finding on 415V, 240V, 110V & 24VAC/DC systems
o Reading/interpreting electrical drawings
o PLC fault finding (I/O checks only)
o Overhead crane fault diagnosis
o Maintenance of lighting, alarms & emergency systems
o Basic control panel building & CCTV design
o Completing shift reports and working safely
Requirements
o Time Served / Apprenticeship preferred
o NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Maintenance
o 18th Edition desirable
o Heavy industrial experience essential
o Slitting/decoiling machinery experience advantageous
o Full UK Driving Licence preferred
o Fuse checks
o Continuity testing
o Insulation resistance testing
o Motor winding continuity testing
o Equipment identification
o Live testing
o Reading electrical drawings
Shift Pattern (40 hrs/week)
