Overview
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology, Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI). Applicants are invited to join a dynamic and supportive team, working alongside, and being supported by a highly motivated team of Consultant Dermatologists and wider clinical workforce.
The department is looking to recruit a specialty doctor whose schedule will include set days working from the dermatology centre to provide stability for the clinical workforce. The post holder will work in all aspects of dermatology, suited to their experience and competencies and the priorities of service provisions. As well as the Dermatology Centre, based in the BRI the post holder may work across other peripheral services based in Weston General Hospital or/and South Bristol Community Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Outpatient clinic: contribute to consultant led Dermatology clinics.
* Clinical Management: take a full role in the delivery of the Trust wide agenda for governance. Participate in an open learning environment with a clear risk management strategy, aiming to innovate and improve care while placing patient safety at the centre of values. Participate actively in the department/specialty strategy.
* Patient Care: comply with all relevant Trust policies relating to administration of patient care.
* Management and leadership: help with the smooth running of the team and contribute to clinical governance work.
