SEN Teacher
Location: Northampton
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (Based on teaching experience) plus valuable benefits

Teaching Personnel is excited to collaborate with an exceptional school in Northampton that specializes in students at Key Stage 3 and 4, aged at least 13. Many students have been diagnosed with SEND/SEMH or are awaiting diagnosis, and some have been excluded from mainstream schools. We are seeking experienced and passionate SEN Teachers to join their alternative education community.
Key duties:
* Contribute to curriculum delivery and development, considering the educational, physical, and social needs of students within a supportive learning environment.
* Monitor, assess, review, and report on students' progress to parents, colleagues, senior staff, examination and funding bodies through reports and meetings, following school policies.
* Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing training and research, taking responsibility for personal development.
* Develop and analyze lesson plans, reflecting on outcomes for continuous improvement.
* Participate in the review of Statements, EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews.
About you:
* Core Teaching Qualifications: QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards it. Specialist Teaching Qualification is desirable.
* Academic Background: Degree in a relevant teaching subject or equivalent for SEN is desirable.
* Special Education and SEN Expertise: SENCO Advanced Certificate and Patoss AAA Course completion are desirable.
* Teaching Subjects: Proficiency in English, Maths, and Science, with a minimum of grade 4/C or higher.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential for permanent placement later.
