As a Territory Sales Consultant for this region you will be working in stores around Manchester, Stockport, Cheetham Hill, Aston-Under-Lynn, Macclesfield and Buxton and you will be responsible for:
Sales
1. Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management and other customer contacts
2. Continually promote and represent the brand and product strengths to B&Q store teams and consumers.
3. Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits.
4. Conduct events to promote products and to increase sales.
5. Ensuring in store activations and business activity are executed successfully in each store.
6. Prepare performance summary to Regional Manager of Sales performance, Training, Business Directed Activity and In Store Activations monthly that meet or exceed goals
7. Develop, promote, implement and evaluate Partnerships across customer base including periodic formal meetings with Store Unit Managers as directed by the business
8. Ensure that the Sherwin Williams brands are leveraged across the customer base
Training
9. Conduct product knowledge training sessions for all B&Q Store teams. Training should include features, benefits as well as selling skills and may include a demo of the products.
10. Conduct sales training to current and newly hired B&Q Store Team
11. Train store teams on equipment, and in Store Excellence and maintenance.. tinting machines
12. Service
13. Identify opportunities in service/upselling and maximizing resource at store level with solution
14. Assist store teams with all customer service activity including tinting/mixing paint as needed.
15. Department review of all SW products. Review all products on shelf to ensure products are fully stocked and properly displayed. Replace defected products (dents, labels,etc…)
Merchandising / Color Collateral / Displays
16. Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, color chip and color card stock.
17. Ordering inventory of collateral to ensure inventory is stocked.
Misc. Responsibilities
18. Region support as needed
19. Attended required conference calls
20. Attend local and non-local trainings as required (. Sales Excellence)
21. Attend Regional Sales Meetings and National Sales Meeting(s)
22. Complete required paperwork/reports in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to CRM logging/updates,, expense reporting, etc..
23. A sound education to A-Level standard or equivalent
24. 1+ year previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing or other Business related field.
25. Ability to work a flexible work schedule. This includes evenings and weekends
26. Must have a valid driver’s license
27. Strong Organizational & Communication skills
28. Conducting presentations to groups of employees
29. Experience in sales, customer service or merchandising
30. Ability to work independently
31. Must have the ability to learn to operate the in store tinting machines
32. Must be able to operate a smart phone & computer Assessing training needs
33. Previous paint/coatings experience
