Graduate CAD Operator required by Strachan Furniture Makers Ltd. in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Description: Over four generations, Strachan Furniture Makers have become one of the UKs leading companies in the fitted furniture market supplying luxury products direct to the consumer.
Our aim remains to deliver bespoke: Bedroom, Home Study, Dressing Room, Lounge, Wall Beds, Libraries and Cinema Room fitted furniture that does more than just fit together; our pieces adapt and blend with unique features our clients rightly deserve.
Wishing to build upon our continued success with more new products in 2025/6, we are looking to recruit another Graduate CAD Operator to help continue with its success.
Responsibilities
* Computer literacy to prepare CAD plans and 3D perspectives of furniture designs for our customers.
* Interpretation and communication skills in order to discuss design matters.
* Attention to detail and creativity in providing solutions.
* Good administrative and organisational skills.
* Ability to provide design support to Customer Service colleagues.
Person Specification
* Computer literate.
* Able to read, interpret and generate drawings using software provided.
* Confident, bright and enthusiastic team player dedicated to implementing projects on time.
* An excellent communicator with colleagues.
* Able to learn quickly from our training and support programmes to gain product knowledge.
* Ambitious to progress own career and be suitably rewarded in both financial and career progression.

* Salary with a bonus Scheme.
* 40 Hours (P/W)
* 20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays to start with increasing to 22 days over a 2 year period.
