Role: Pipelayer Location: Guildford Rate: £23 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 17:00 PM (9.5 hours paid) Duration: Starting ASAP, 5 months of work Our client is a multidisciplinary, main contractor excelling in the delivery of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, currently looking for an experienced Pipe Layer to work on a busy civils site in Guildford. As a Pipelayer, your duties will include: Laying deep and shallow drainage pipes (concrete, clay, and plastic) Reading and working from site drawings and levels Trenching, benching, and installing manholes Operating within trench boxes and using shoring equipment Coordinating with machine drivers and groundworkers Ensuring work meets tolerances and site specificationsSuccessful Pipelayer must have the following: Valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker or above preferred) At least 4 years of experience in pipelaying on civil engineering sites Good understanding of drainage layouts and safe working practices CPCS/NPORS for Dumper/Roller (preferred but not essential)If you are interested in this Pipelayer position based in Guildford, please apply, and the team will get in touch.
