Kenneth Green Associates, the UK’s leading luxury fragrance and beauty distributor, is looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for driving growth, executing brand strategies, and building long-term relationships with key retailers, including full account responsibility for a brand portfolio.
Mission:
Deliver sell-out and sell-in expectations through best-in-class execution of brand strategies, carefully planned channel approaches, and unlocking the full potential of each retailer to ensure profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Development
* Build strong long-term strategies across all brands to accelerate growth across all channels.
* Full account responsibility for a portfolio of brands.
* Develop and deliver annual retailer strategies to achieve above-market growth.
* Use strategic insight, market knowledge, and financial reasoning to create robust business plans.
* Negotiate and deliver improved terms with retailers each year to achieve objectives.
* Collaborate with brand management and retailers to propose clear range management aligned with brand strategies.
* Identify priorities for each retailer and ensure the business remains focused on them.
Operational Management
* Deliver robust trade activation plans, balancing product launches with long-term pillar development.
* Monitor retailer and brand performance and propose practical solutions to maximize results.
* Optimize stock levels and ensure accurate forecasting for launches.
* Liaise with Visual Merchandising to maximise retailer levers and ensure consumer-focused activations.
Relationships & Communication
* Build strong internal and external relationships to negotiate maximum visibility and trade activations.
* Ensure clear communication on all major aspects of the business.
* Contribute expertise and insights to the wider business with a can-do attitude.

Person Specification:
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience in National Account Management, particularly within e-commerce, department stores, and chains.
* In-depth knowledge of the UK retail market and competitors.
* Analytical and numerate with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong presentation and commercial skills.
* Proven negotiation and influencing abilities.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
