Our client is currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to be based on their site in Chester on a large residential project.
As a HSEQ Advisor, you will:
* Partner with our business unit to support and embed the health, safety, and welfare of our team and stakeholders.
* Carry out regular inspections on responsive maintenance and notifiable CDM works, resolving any health and safety related issues.
* Report to the Head of HSEQ and work collaboratively with a HSEQ team that supports the whole business.
* Manage procedures, liaise with management and clients, and produce written reports and follow-ups as necessary.
* Be involved in ad hoc projects, process review, and implementation of improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate and TechIOSH at minimum.
* Prior experience at a health and safety advisory level.
* Good knowledge of the facilities management sector, covering both hard and soft services.
* Proven experience in roles specializing in safety management systems.
* Good working knowledge and application of health & safety standards and quality systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
* Track record of successful change management projects in construction.
* A full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel within the borough.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and confidently present to others.
