Based at our Cardiff office, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Family Team on a full-time, permanent contract. This role will see you working closely with solicitors and other team members to provide essential administrative and case management support, helping us deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. The ability to multi-task with confidence — balancing deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive client matters with professionalism and empathy — will be key to your success in this role. What you’ll do: Assist Fee Earners with organising and prioritising their caseload to improve client service and case progression Provide day-to-day support, including drafting letters and documents, conducting legal research, and liaising with clients Manage administrative tasks such as file opening, billing, and general case management Support Fee Earners with handling new client enquiries Take responsibility for new enquiries directed to the department, ensuring clients are updated accurately and within appropriate timeframes Who you are: Dynamic, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence Shares Redkite’s ethos of bold thinking, ambition, and high-quality client service Interested in playing an active role within the department and wider business Confident communicator, both written and verbal Strong organisational and self-management skills Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong working relationships Proactive, focused, and driven to achieve the best results for clients and colleague s.
