The Vacancy
We are seeking a skilled Sprayer Engineer to join our team in Kelso. As a service engineer with Scot Agri, you will visit various customer sites across the area to perform maintenance, repairs, and services on our customers' machines to a high standard.

This role involves:
* Repairing and maintaining machines on customer sites to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications
* Completing all relevant paperwork accurately on a daily basis
* Ordering parts accurately and collaborating closely with the parts department
* Working closely with the service supervisor
* Carrying out inspections and repairs at our depot as required, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulations
* Ensuring machines are free from deficiencies or defects that could affect safe operation, and notifying managers of any unsafe equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant experience and qualifications, such as City and Guild, NVQ, or SVQ qualifications
* Experience with agricultural plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
* The ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
* A flexible, positive attitude and an outgoing approach to work
* Experience working on sprayer equipment would be advantageous
