We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys lower Key Stage 2 and is passionate about supporting pupils as they transition from KS1 into KS2 learning.

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping pupils build confidence, independence, and strong foundations in literacy and numeracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum
* Support pupils transitioning from KS1 to KS2
* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN
* Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
* Create a well-structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and school initiatives
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Have recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 3
* Have a strong understanding of the lower KS2 curriculum
* Be organised, enthusiastic, and reflective in practice
* Have strong classroom management skills
* Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
