The Role:
This pivotal role covers end to end product category management for the 3 sales channels, Automotive, Bike and Marine.
From developing the strategic innovation product roadmap for each sales channels portfolio, and leading the development and launch of new products, to executing commercial plans to optimise the performance in each channel contributing strongly the business growth ambitions.
You will ensure effective ranging, product lifecycle management based on strong consumer insight, market and competitor understanding and retail dynamics. Working cross-functionally across the business with sales, marketing, R&D, operations, procurement, and finance, you will play a central role in driving the product category agenda.
This role reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Customer Insight
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product decisions, enhancements, and future opportunities.
Product Development & Launch
Own and drive new products from concept through development to market launch, coordinating inputs across R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
Product Portfolio Management
Actively manage Gtechniqs existing product portfolio, ensuring products remain relevant, well-positioned, and aligned to customer and market needs.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement
Track product performance post-launch and across the portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement, rationalisation, or extension.
Pricing & Commercial Management
Develop and maintain pricing structures, working with Sales and Finance to ensure pricing is commercially competitive and implemented across the different markets
Business Case Development
Support new product and range decisions with clear, data-driven business cases, including cost, pricing, and commercial impact.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work collaboratively with internal teams to align priorities, manage timelines, and ensure effective execution from development through to launch.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure products meet required quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Skills & Experience required :
5+ years experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role
Experience supporting products through development and launch cycles
Strong commercial and analytical capability, particularly around pricing and performance
Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
Clear, confident communicator able to coordinate across technical and commercial teams
