Job Title: Business Development Manager - Furniture Sales
Location: Leeds
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Commission (OTE £75,000)
Type: Permanent - Full Time
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and convert new business opportunities with furniture retailers across the North
* Manage and grow existing accounts, building long-term, trusted relationships
* Develop and execute a 3-year growth strategy aligned with company expansion goals
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
* Lead multiple projects, managing timelines, expectations, and supply chain coordination
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and product development
* Deliver monthly sales forecasts and performance updates to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience selling furniture into retailers - this is essential
* Strong knowledge of furniture categories and customer segments
* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sales
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Highly organised with strong planning and reporting abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Willingness to travel across the region (with occasional overnight stays)
* Full UK driving licence (clean, with no pending convictions)
