Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across South Powys and surrounding areas
Salary: £25,300 - £29,500

Essential Criteria:
Ideally hold Assessors award.
Hold occupational competency of working in a Residential Childcare setting (at any level)
Must hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Residential Childcare/Children & Young People.
Confident to support learners with Essential Skills (Literacy and Numeracy).
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel. Duties include:
Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare up to Level 5, as well as Essential Skills in Literacy and Numeracy,
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.Please note:
