Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join as the ITS Training Manager at TK Elevator UK within our Technical Support Department, creating & delivering training content for our field technicians across UK, Ireland, Europe and Africa.
This role will develop content and facilitate technical training across TK Elevator Business Unit Europe Africa, through understanding learning styles and learning architecture to develop training content as defined by the needs of the field organisation and the needs of the wider ITS business.
The training Manager will support our field technicians, providing them with the knowledge, expertise and confidence to work on a diverse array of 3rd party elevator and escalator control systems in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities
* As the ITS Training Manager your day to day will include:
* Work in cooperation with ITS senior leadership team.
* Ensure internal “Train-the-Trainer” sessions are provided where required.
* Build and expand upon cooperation and links with other ITS centres, SEED Campus Level Up and SCE (Budapest), etc.
* Deliver MS Teams based training using video production hardware (automated HD cameras, video hubs, etc) & software (OBS, Video Pad, TeamViewer, etc.) and outside broadcasting techniques.
* Co-Ordinate face to face training to groups of technicians both in a classroom environment and on-site.
* Organise and update training calendar with the cooperation of local training administrators and ITS field support engineers (trainers).
* Content review and update existing training courses and media.
* Respond to incoming training enquiries and schedule.
* Create & co-ordinate technical training courses & content for these control systems, using various platforms and production techniques (docx; pptx.; pdf; etc.)
* Create training content using Ai packages such as Synthesia & V-Yond.
* Attend promotional customer face to face and virtual meetings.
* Administration of ITS Centre SharePoint and MS Stream video facility
* Collating and reporting training KPI’s.
* Collaborate with Field Support Engineers to facilitate training to both domestic (UK) and across Europe.
* This role is based in our offices in South Manchester with travels in UK and throughout Europe as required, by the critical support needs of our field colleagues.
