Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time)Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Contract: 3 Month Contract, 24hrs a week Monday to Thursday, flexible hrs, onsite
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team within a leading manufacturing business. This part-time role would suit someone with experience in accounts payable who enjoys working methodically, has strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and control transactions for supplier invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and approved.
* Review, reconcile and process company expenses and credit card statements in line with policies.
* Carry out supplier statement reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Support with supplier returns, ensuring compliance with VAT and financial procedures.
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice and delivery discrepancies.
* Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties and provide holiday cover when required.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Finance environment.
* Confident with MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Knowledge of MRP or ERP systems preferred.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
