As an Instrument & Process Control Technician at OSCABE, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our production processes. Your expertise in instrumentation and control systems will ensure that our operations run efficiently and safely. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will report to and work closely with the Calibrations and Controls Engineer.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
* Troubleshoot and repair process control systems and instruments
* Calibrate and validate measurement and control equipment
* Document maintenance activities and update equipment performance records
* Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
* Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and optimize control systems
* Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations

Requirements
* Completed degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Process Control, or a related field (HND minimum requirement)
* Prior experience in a similar role within a continuous manufacturing process environment
* Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment
* Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and other control technologies
* Experience with process control project management
* Experience in control system design and software engineering
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
* Willingness to work in shifts as required
