Role Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming Account Executive to step into a corporate-level client management role. Based in a small but high-performing Leicester office, you’ll manage an established book of corporate clients, focusing on service, retention, and relationship development rather than a heavy new business focus. The role offers genuine progression into senior client leadership positions within a national corporate structure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a corporate commercial insurance portfolio (circa £450k ), gain exposure to higher-value, more complex risks
* Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients: Build long-term, trusted relationships
* Oversee renewals and mid-term adjustments: Develop strong technical and client management capability
* Work closely with internal specialist teams: Broaden exposure across complex commercial placements
* Identify organic growth opportunities within the portfolio: Enhance client value without sales pressure
Requirements:
* Background in commercial insurance within a broker environment (An account Handler with a proven track record looking to step up will be considered.)
* Experience beyond SME, with exposure to mid-market or corporate clients
* Strong technical understanding of commercial risks
* Confident in managing client relationships end-to-end
* Ready to step up into a more corporate-focused role
