We are seeking to appoint a motivated and innovative E-Commerce Technical Assistant to join our rapidly growing E-Commerce team at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.
You will demonstrate a keen focus on ecommerce development within a retail environment, playing a key role in driving growth through targeted online strategies. Your contributions will include supporting seasonal campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing revenue from the online shop.
This role requires a strategic mindset to align ecommerce activities with broader retail objectives, ensuring sustained business performance and a strong digital presence.
Assisting the E-Commerce Manager, you will contribute to projects including product range launches and the creation of attractive product offerings for the online shop. Furthermore, you will analyse performance data to generate insights that enhance future sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Support seasonal campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing revenue from the online shop.
* Assist in product range launches and create attractive product offerings.
* Analyse performance data to generate insights for future sales strategies.
* Create content, structures and funnels that drive discovery through SEO and convert.
* Make basic coding changes to Shopify as required.
* Meet agreed competing deadlines and targets.
* Work independently using own initiative and collaborate with stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
* Experience with online shop platform Shopify.
* Proven ability to work with data, meta data and Photoshop.
* Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Experience in an e-commerce environment with a history of increasing income within a retail environment.
* Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
* Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS coding.
* Relevant e-business/e-commerce qualification.
* Ability to work remotely/digitally with clients and staff.
* Creative and commercial insight, adaptable under pressure.
