We are seeking an Attendance Welfare Officer to join our team at Jubilee High School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Position: Attendance Welfare Officer
Contract: Part‑time, permanent, 37 weeks per year (Term‑time)
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Support Staff (Fringe - Surrey) PS5.6 to PS6.6 dependent on experience £29,604 - £32,867 FTE (£24,162.09 - £26,825.27 Actual)

Responsibilities
* Oversee Educational Welfare across the whole school and work closely with the Attendance Officer, Pastoral team and Heads of Year
* Identify reasons for non‑attendance and work closely with families and others to break down barriers to learning and achieving regular attendance
* Manage a caseload of severely absent students with extremely low attendance to improve attendance
Essential Requirements
* Awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
* Experience working in an office environment
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable
* Previous reception/administrative experience within a school environment
