Company Overview Our client is a leading provider of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and power protection solutions. With a strong focus on energy efficiency, innovation, and reliability, our client serves a wide range of industries including data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, and telecommunications. Their product includes advanced UPS systems designed to ensure power continuity and safeguard critical equipment. Role Overview The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive efforts to generate new business and strategic growth in the data centre sector. This role centers on promoting the company’s Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and diesel standby generators as the go-to solutions for mission-critical infrastructure. This role will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the data centre ecosystem, including end users, design consultants, contractors, and colocation providers. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the data centre sector, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise clients, and critical facility operators. Account Management: Manage existing client accounts, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships. Sales Strategy Execution: Deliver on sales targets by executing a sector-specific go-to-market strategy and supporting campaign development. Project Engagement: Influence major infrastructure projects from design to implementation by coordinating with engineering and delivery teams. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, and end-users to foster long-term collaboration. Technical Knowledge: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customer-specific solutions based on technical requirements. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitors to support strategic positioning. Proposal & Tender Support: Contribute to bid and tender submissions by coordinating technical and commercial inputs. CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast pipelines, and produce regular performance reports. INTERESTED?
