Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a lovely UHNW family relocating to the Berkshire (Ascot area), is seeking an exceptional and experienced After‑School Nanny / Tutor to support their two children aged 8 and 9.

This is a live‑out position, and candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Ascot. A trial period will take place at the family’s London residence in Chelsea during May and June ahead of their relocation.

The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging, and highly organised, with a strong educational background and the ability to support the children’s academic development alongside their daily routines. A teaching or tutoring background is highly desirable.

The children are active, sporty, and thrive in a structured, stimulating environment. The family are hands‑on and are looking for someone who can integrate seamlessly into their lifestyle, providing both support and structure.

Salary: £65,000 gross per annum

Location: Berkshire / Ascot (live‑out)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Flexibility: Occasional weekend support required

Start date: September 2026 (trial May/June in Chelsea)

Travel: Required during school holidays (primarily Europe and the US)

After‑School Nanny / Tutor Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a private household
• A teaching or tutoring background is highly desirable
• Strong academic ability to support homework and educational development
• Warm, engaging, and confident managing two school‑aged children
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Proactive and able to use initiative
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Confident driver essential
• Must be based within commuting distance of Ascot (live‑out role)
• Flexible and happy to travel with the family during school holidays

After‑School Nanny / Tutor Responsibilities

• School pick‑ups and drop‑offs
• Supporting homework, academic development, and educational structure
• Preparing healthy meals where required
• Managing schedules, research, and bookings for children’s activities
• Arranging playdates and organising engaging activities
• Supporting extracurricular activities and sporting commitments
• Assisting with bath time and evening routines
• Occasional babysitting as required
• Managing children’s wardrobes, uniforms, and organisation
• Booking medical and dental appointments
• Overseeing supplement routines and general wellbeing
• Travelling with the family during school holidays
• Supporting smooth day‑to‑day organisation of the children’s routines
