The culture is collaborative, people-focused and pragmatic, with early engagement of operators and stakeholders seen as critical to success.The opportunityThis Project Engineer role, created due to promotion, offers the chance to play a key part in the delivery of capital and engineering projects across a complex manufacturing operation. Working within a small, agile project team, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, from initial concept through to installation, commissioning and handover.The role is broad and hands-on, covering equipment upgrades, new machinery installation, line reconfiguration, factory fit-outs and supporting infrastructure. You will act as the technical authority within projects, translating business and operator needs into practical engineering solutions, while operating within an increasingly structured project governance framework.Key responsibilities include:Leading capital engineering projects from concept through to completionManaging budgets, timelines, contractors and suppliersOverseeing equipment installation, relocation and validationEnsuring compliance with health & safety, regulatory and quality standardsProducing technical documentation, risk assessments and project updatesWorking closely with manufacturing, engineering and production teams to minimise disruptionSupporting continuous improvement, automation and efficiency initiativesThis role will suit someone who enjoys variety, visibility and autonomy, and who is comfortable balancing structured project discipline with practical, common-sense delivery.About youYou will be an experienced Project Engineer with a strong technical foundation, ideally gained within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
