Asda Opticians operates in more than 700 UK and Northern Ireland stores and partners with the Optom Academy to provide comprehensive training for pre‑registration optometrists.
Qualifications / Candidate Profile
* Student registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
* On track to achieve a 2:1 or higher degree qualification in Wales
* Completed WGOS mandatory training (if applying in Wales)
* Evidence of Right to Work in the UK
* Reference support within the compliance process (2 references)
* Desire to progress to fully qualified optometrist through the scheme for registration and associated assessments and examinations
