My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. Currently, there is a record number of learner drivers needing teaching due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19.
In the last 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to consider becoming a driving instructor.
Do you have good customer service skills? Anyone can become a driving instructor. Recently, we have recruited people from industries including:
* Driving (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus drivers)
* IT (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, web development)
* Education (teachers, teaching assistants, admin officers, personal assistants, lecturers)
Full training is provided and conducted as locally as possible. Our pass rates are above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
To qualify as a driving instructor, you must:
* Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
* Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years
