Architecture Specialist | Matching Architecture & Technology Talent with Industry‑Leading Organisations
Role: Product Owner (Insurance)
Location: Colchester (~2 days per week on site)
Summary
We’re looking for a hands‑on Product Owner to take ownership of a critical workstream within a complex underwriting technology platform migration (legacy to modern stack).
You will be the person who knows the product, shapes the roadmap, and drives value through delivery. You’ll work with business stakeholders and a dedicated dev & test team ensuring customer needs are at the forefront of every decision.

You’ll also join during a critical platform upgrade that happens less than once a decade. This role is also open to those with most of the required skills, but no specific Product Ownership experience.
Responsibilities
* Own and evolve the roadmap for underwriting components in a wider ecosystem
* Migrate legacy underwriting tooling to a new platform
* Work with dev/test teams to turn strategy into shipped outcomes
* Lead backlog, acceptance, reporting, retros and continuous improvement
* Be the voice of the customer and remove blockers to value
* Influence across stakeholders
Requirements
* Strong insurance domain knowledge (ideally including underwriting)
* Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar
*Applicants exceeding these requirements may be considered at a higher salary.
