The Role
As a key member of their renowned Medical Negligence team, you will work closely with their Regional Head for the South and Head of the Bristol Medical Negligence team who is highly respected in the field and has extensive expertise in complex, high-value clinical negligence claims.
In this role, you will:
* Lead the management of a complex and high-value caseload, focusing on securing early interim payments to meet rehabilitation and care needs.
* Provide expert oversight on claims across various medical disciplines, including obstetrics, neurosurgery, oncology, and psychiatric care.
* Deliver compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their journey.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide a seamless, high-quality service.
About You
They are looking for a candidate who embodies both technical excellence and empathy:
* Experienced in Clinical Negligence with a proven track record in claimant work.
* Skilled in managing complex, litigated cases independently.
* Passionate about securing justice and enhancing clients’ quality of life.
* Comfortable delivering empathetic, clear, and confident legal advice.
* Commercially minded, with experience in business development and client relationship management.
* Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
